Newly-remodeled Training Facility
Our weight room was remodeled in the summer of 2018 and the old equipment and weights were traded in. The room has actually been expanded by about 10-12 feet, and has newly-installed LED lighting to ensure student safety. It features a new heating and cooling system as well, and sports a new roof as well. New ceiling tiles, mirrors, and walls have been installed, and the room has been freshly painted. It has new security doors that require a key fob for entry.
Our Blue Devils now have access to brand-new equipment. This new equipment looks and functions wonderfully, and we are so glad to be able to have such a nice facility for our students to use! We want our students to be able to take pride in their school, and in the hard work they put in every time they lift weights, run, or whatever form of exercise they choose.
Visitors to the weight room can enjoy:
- Treadmills
- Elipticals
- Stationary bikes
- Rubberized free weights
- Olympic bars and weight sets
- State-of-the-art leg press machines
- Four squat racks
- Benches
- Lat machine
- and a great new sound system!
Best yet, the new flooring is rubberized to help absorb sound and cushion potential impacts.
Who can use the weight room?
Students who participate in athletics groups may have designated practice days, but students who don't wish to join a sport can also use the facility if they so choose.
Student safety is our priority! As long as the room is supervised by a teacher or coach, any student can use the room. Employees also have access to the new facility.
