About the Coach

  • Missy Henry is TCSC's volleyball coach and has been for the last fourteen years. She started coaching when she was a sophomore in college, and next year will be her 33rd season, her 24th at the Varsity level, and her 15th here at Tipton. Some of her career highlights include:

    • Reached 500 Career Varsity Wins during the 2020 season
    • Only 14 Varsity Wins away from reaching 300 Wins at Tipton
    • Sectional Champions for the first time in school history in 2018
    • Sectional Champions again in 2019
    • Regional Runner-Up in 2018
    • Team Academic All-State 4 consecutive years (2018-present)

300 Wins

  • We are incredibly proud of our volleyball coach, Missy Henry, for her extraordinary work and dedication in building such a successful team. Through her diligence and guidance, the team was able to secure their 300th victory.

    On September 15, 2022, the volleyball team, led by Coach Henry, defeated Kokomo's team, clenching their 300th win. Coach Henry's dedication to the sport, and the team, is so appreciated. Her passion in leading young people in the sport is nothing short of inspiring. Great work, Coach Henry!

Try-outs

  • ATHLETES MUST HAVE A BLUE CARD BY AUGUST 1 st IN ORDER TO TRY OUT!!!

    Try-outs:

    August 1st, 2022:  9:00-11:00 and 4:00-6:00
    August 2nd, 2022:   9:00-11:00 and 4:00-6:00

    There will be a mandatory parent meeting on Saturday, August 6th at 9:00am in the Auxiliary Gym (after teams are selected).
