Meet the Coach

Alec Weddell is the 8th grade boys' basketball coach here at TCSC. Prior to coaching our eighth grade boys' team, he was the assistant coach for our high school team for two years, and the assistant coach for middle school for two years. He became the middle school head coach in 2021.
He recently graduated from IU-Kokomo, and graduated high school from Tipton HS. We're happy to have him!

What are the expectations for athletes?
Be better than you were yesterday.

What does the practice schedule look like?
Coach Weddell indicates that players should expect to have practice on Mondays-Saturdays, and that they will not have practice on Sundays.

What should the team wear on game days?
Coach Weddell suggests that players can wear whatever they decide as a team within school dress code guidelines.

Who is eligible to join?
Eighth grade boys are eligible to join the team.

Coach Weddell prefers to be contacted by email, so email him if you have a question or concern. He may also provide his phone number to players after the call-out meeting.
