Meet the Coach

Nick Comer coaches the eighth grade girls' basketball team, and he has impressive experience with high school basketball as well. He coached high school girls' basketball as the head coach for eight years; additionally, he coached boys' high school basketball as the assistant coach for seven years. For three years, he was a travel softball coach.

Are there any age or academic requirements?
Eighth grade girls are eligible to join the basketball team.

Is there a cost to join?
Parents are responsible for providing basketball shoes for their child, as well as the cost of the shooting shirt ($20-30).

Is there a practice or game schedule?
The schedule will be decided by December.

What are the expectations for the sport?
The coach expects team members to attend as much optional training as possible and provide their best effort and attitude during the season.

What do team members wear on gameday?
Teammates should wear school-provided jerseys and shooting shirts to school on game days.
