How is "My Closet" funded?
"My Closet" is funded by the generous people of Tipton County and others throughout Indiana. Funds come from local churches, businesses, philanthropic groups, and individuals who want to help families that are struggling financially.
These donors have joined TCSC in the belief that every child deserves to have a new outfit, good shoes, and a warm winter coat. Not only are clothes a basic necessity, but a new outfit can help boost self-esteem.

What is "My Closet?"
"My Closet" is a clothing pantry where Tipton Community School Corporation and partners in the community come together to provide new, name-brand clothes free of charge to students in need. Students who attend Tipton Community School Corporation are allowed to "shop" for a jacket, shirt, pants, socks, and underwear. They are also allowed to receive a haircut from "Absolutely You" salon.
Students may "shop" one time each semester. Everything is free, and parents do not need to meet strict income guidelines. The only requirement is that the parents/guardians feel the student needs a new outfit and cannot afford to buy one. All students from grades Pre-K through Seniors in high school are eligible.
